Understanding stage and performance dynamics. -Getting hands-on experience to create a theatre presentation. -Showcasing a theatre performance on VISION 2020.
The Proscenium Theatre workshop is a workshop that provides training in direction, acting, lights, sound, backstage, scripting, stage management, stage make up and costume design. Experts from diverse fields will conduct the sessions. Participants will develop a basic understanding of the function and working of these areas. The workshop culminates in a presentation that comprises solo performances as well as group performances.
The objective of this workshop is to provide participants a working knowledge into the various aspects of theatre. The sessions will involve a balance of practical sessions with theory sessions.
Duration – 60 hours
Timing – 6:20 a m to 8:30 am (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday – 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm)

PhD in Economics is offered in the Central Campus, BGR Campus, Yeshwantpur Campus, NCR Delhi Campus and Pune Lavasa Campus.

Coursework
The duration of the coursework will be 6 months from the date of allotment of research supervisor to the candidate and shall be counted within the overall normal duration of three years for the PhD programme. The PhD scholars are expected to complete the PhD coursework prescribed by the University and the Department during the first semester. The coursework covers topics on research practices and doctoral education, higher education and academic communication, leadership and development in academic practice, research tools and methods and academic writing. Each course has a specified syllabus divided into three to four units. Attendance is mandatory for all the courses and the students with less than 85% attendance will be required to repeat the course work. Students lacking in attendance will not be allowed to make their proposal presentation or to appear for the end semester examination. All courses will have continuous internal assessments (CIA) and a final examination. Scholars are expected to obtain minimum required marks to be eligible for finalization of their admission.

Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.

(The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.
Applicants must have the following documents before filling the application online:
Copy of statement of marks of class 10 and class 11 final report or class 12 Board result (Mandatory).
Fill in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background not more than 100 kb) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
Applicants will have an option to choose the selection process venue and date, before making the payment for the application.
Payment may be made through card/UPI/net banking. After successful payment, click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, logon to https://app.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form.
(After payment if you do not receive the 9 (Nine) digit application number, then your application process is incomplete, and payment will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 working days and must be checked with your bank).

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for
Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Admission to all programmes is based on academic achievement and CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Selection Process. Candidates should submit the final results of class 12 on or before August 30th of the admission year.

Selection process results will be available on https://app.christuniversity.in. Selected candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission that will be valid up to the date mentioned in the Offer of admission.

Applicants may apply online for the programme from 8th December 2023 on the University website till the date of applications officially closing.
Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.
All applicants must visit the page: https://appstat.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.
Applicants must have the following documents before filling the application online:

Fill in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background not more than 100 kb) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
Applicants will have an option to choose the selection process venue and date, before making the payment for the application.
Payment may be made through card/UPI/net banking. After successful payment, click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated.
