Applicants may apply for the programme from 8th December 2023. applications will be available online on the University website till the date applications will officially close.
Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.
All applicants must visit the page: https://appstat.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID, and set a password. (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.
Applicants must have the following documents prior to fill the application online:
- Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12, and Degree Marks Cards (whichever is available years’/semesters marks card) (Mandatory).
- Applicants applying For PGDIE Programme must have a Copy of statement of marks of Class 10, Class 12, Degree Marks Cards, BEd Marks Card and work experience letter (Joining Letter) if applying with work experience (Mandatory).
- Fill-in all the details in the “detailed application” page. Scan and upload a recent passport-size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms formal dress with white background) and click “Submit”. On clicking Submit, a viewable and editable page will appear on the screen. In case you need to make any corrections; you may edit the data/details and then click “Confirm Submission”.
- Make payment using the Card/UPI/Net Banking and after successful payment click on submit. A 9 (Nine) digit Application number will be generated. If unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, log on to https://appstat.christuniversity.in, under the “Application Status” page enter the registered Email-ID and password to view and print the application form.

Candidates without the above pre-qualifications will have to enroll either for
Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.
Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Selection process results will be available on https://appstat.christuniversity.in Selected candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission. The offer will be valid upto the date mentioned in the Offer of admission. All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules. Selected candidates must download the offer of admission on the ‘Application Status’ link on the University website.

An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – May – 2024], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 20 September 2024.
Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.
All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card).
The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after the commencement of classes, including fee payment, will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.
Selected candidates who fall under International student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bengaluru, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bengaluru.
The date of commencement of the academic Year 2024 will be intimated during the admission process.

The University shall allot the seat to the selected MBA (Central/Kengeri) candidate in the Bangalore Central campus or Kengeri campus based on the availability of seats. -
All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules. -
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for 2 years, there will be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs. -
Fees should be paid within the stipulated date for the first year and before the commencement of final examinations of the 2nd semester, 4th Semester, 6th Semester, and 8th Semester for the consecutive years. -

Selection Process
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed the Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for the above programmes must possess a recognised undergraduate degree with minimum 50 percent marks. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience. The duration of the programme shall be a minimum of 2 years to a maximum of 4 years with one year extension given to students upon payment of an extension fee.
Students pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations.

Programme Highlights
This course is designed to help students develop their skills, attitudes and values needed to understand the dynamics of society and work towards the goals of justice, equality and empowerment. This curriculum is a perfect blend of theory, research and practice-class room learning, action labs, projects, seminars, conferences, service learning and field based training- which provides exposure and helps students to manifest their passion for social responsibility. Students are trained to grow and develop into mature professionals, capable of taking decisions independently, having the ability to think critically and having the competence required to build purposeful relationships to empower individuals, groups and communities.
PROGRAM SCOPE
This programme offers students the opportunity to find placements in different sectors such as development, health, research social service and welfare sectors as well as administrative or research positions in governmental and non-Governmental organizations at National and International levels. Entrepreneurial qualities of students in social, health, research and development sector will be developed and encouraged to make their work innovative and self-directed.
PROGRAM INTERNSHIP
Students will have six months of internships altogether in four semesters in the Community and Hospital settings where Professional social work is being practiced. The student will be facilitated to observe and study the Clinical and community practices in depth in health, development and welfare sectors. Internship sessions are spread across Community and Hospital related organizations.
ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATIONS
All theory papers have end semester written examinations and practical papers (Social work practical, Service Learning, and research project II) will have end semester viva voce examinations/demonstrations. Electives, skill lab and research project I will have internal evaluations only.

Admission Process
Selection process results will be available on https://appstat.christuniversity.in Selected candidates will receive an E-Offer of admission. The offer will be valid upto the date mentioned in the Offer of admission. All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules. Selected candidates must download the offer of admission on the ‘Application Status’ link on the University website.

Candidates must choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate a smooth admission process. -
Admission must be processed in person at the campus where the programme is offered as published in the offer of admission. -
As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online/NEFT mode. -

Fees for the first year including non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 5000/-must be paid in full as part of the admission process.

An undertaking for pending original documents unavailable currently [applicable only for candidates writing/passing their exam in March – May – 2024], must be submitted to the Office of Admissions. These documents must be submitted on or before 20 September 2024.
Failure to submit the pending documents will be treated as unsuccessful in the qualifying examination or considered “Not Eligible” and admission will be terminated from CHRIST (Deemed to be University) without any claim.
All admitted students must open an account at South Indian Bank, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Branch as part of the admission process and must carry relevant ID proof (Aadhar Card and Pan Card).
The University ID card is a smart card, which is both an ID cum ATM card with a chip containing the student personal details. All transactions within the University campus after the commencement of classes, including fee payment, will be processed only through this card. It is also an access card for Library and other restricted places.
Selected candidates who fall under International student category (ISC) should register with the Foreigner Regional Registration Officer (FRRO / FRO) of the Local Police in Bengaluru, India within 14 working days from the date of admission or arriving in Bengaluru.
The date of commencement of the academic Year 2024 will be intimated during the admission process.

If the Application is incomplete or incorrect, the University Management has the right to reject it. -

Ignorance of the Terms, Conditions, and guidelines will not be considered as an excuse for non-fulfillment of any stipulated process. -
The University shall allot the seat to the selected MBA (Central/Kengeri) candidate in the Bangalore Central campus or Kengeri campus based on the availability of seats. -
All selected candidates must note that admission is provisional and subject to University rules. -
It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for 2 years, there will be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs. -

Selection Process
Eligibility
Candidates who have passed the Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.
Candidates applying for the above programmes must possess a recognised undergraduate degree with minimum 50 percent marks. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience. The duration of the programme shall be a minimum of 2 years to a maximum of 4 years with one year extension given to students upon payment of an extension fee.
Students pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations.

It is to be noted that though the fee is fixed for two years, there may be a periodic nominal increase to meet the rise in costs.

NRI fee is applicable for the first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabus (has to be approved by UGC / AIU) in the qualifying examination of study in India. In subsequent years Other Indian States fee will be applicable.
(The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).

NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the Programme for candidates who:
- Have pursued and completed their last qualifying exam from outside India.
- Are NRI and candidates who have applied under the NRI category.

To claim the Indian category fee, the candidates should have studied last 7 years in India. (Not applicable for OCI, PIO and Foreign Nationals). -
Admission registration fee of INR 5000/- (US $80 for foreign nationals/PIO/OCI) is non-refundable in the event of cancellation of admission. This fee will be apart from cancellation charges if any applicable. -

Programme Highlights
This course is designed to help students develop their skills, attitudes and values needed to understand the dynamics of society and work towards the goals of justice, equality and empowerment. This curriculum is a perfect blend of theory, research and practice-class room learning, action labs, projects, seminars, conferences, service learning and field based training- which provides exposure and helps students to manifest their passion for social responsibility. Students are trained to grow and develop into mature professionals, capable of taking decisions independently, having the ability to think critically and having the competence required to build purposeful relationships to empower individuals, groups and communities.
PROGRAM SCOPE
This programme offers students the opportunity to find placements in different sectors such as development, health, research social service and welfare sectors as well as administrative or research positions in governmental and non-Governmental organizations at National and International levels. Entrepreneurial qualities of students in social, health, research and development sector will be developed and encouraged to make their work innovative and self-directed.
PROGRAM INTERNSHIP
Students will have six months of internships altogether in four semesters in the Community and Hospital settings where Professional social work is being practiced. The student will be facilitated to observe and study the Clinical and community practices in depth in health, development and welfare sectors. Internship sessions are spread across Community and Hospital related organizations.
ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATIONS
All theory papers have end semester written examinations and practical papers (Social work practical, Service Learning, and research project II) will have end semester viva voce examinations/demonstrations. Electives, skill lab and research project I will have internal evaluations only.
