Working in SWO is more than the spirit of volunteerism to me. Meeting people from across the university, getting sneak peeks of the events backstage and most importantly making a treasure box of memories with not just my batch members but with seniors and juniors is truly a novel experience. Stepping into the office as a shy volunteer and graduating as a confident young woman ready to set foot out into the real world is the profound impact SWO has and will always have on me. If meeting people, stepping outside of your comfort zone and expanding wings is your thing, I’d definitely recommend students to start off as a volunteer in SWO.
